Finally Fall Clean Up.............

Well, yesterday was a very productive day here at the Bilodeau Lodge. The air was crisp and the sun was warm but there was that chill in the air but the work still had to get done. I finished up with my cutting up the tomato plants and got that out of the way than proceed on with the lawn. I must admit my lawn has not been mowed in several weeks, first of all due to the very warm weather in August and all of rain in September and cold weather we had so it really did not grown much. We have a allot of Maple trees in the surrounding area of the driveway so you can just well imagine the acorns and all the fallen leaves down in the driveway, well I did do a little mowing and mulching and than proceed out front to do the lawn which faces the cove. Wow, my lawn was very long, me being a perfectionist when it comes to my lawn, will let's just say it took me several hours to cut and mulch it all up so I got the look I wanted. I like to be able to "T".....off my front lawn if I so choose too, which I have been know do so in the past. Well, today we are having a pot hole party.....here on Longfellow Lane. No, it not the type of party you think it's bring your own shovel, truck if you have one. Time to fix the holes in the road and believe me they do need attention. You know if people would just take there time in driving in the camp road it would be nice but this is just not the case and or course you have some that pot holes just don't bother them they hit them anyway.....I am glad I don't have there service bill. Will I must close for now and I will come back and chat again soon.............

Happy Fall..........

Last but not least is my Fall flair. I had to have one for fall it just would not have been right. This was just perfect too. The color and the little saying just fit the bill for what I was looking for. So as the flair states. "Happy Fall, yall!" let the leaves fall where they may, we will get them in the Spring.

Family...........

This is one of my flairs I sent to my niece and nephews and cousin on Facebook, isn't it cute. I love things like this, it just touches my heart. I had to let them know I was thinking about them.

Happy Halloween

This is my ghost flair pin. Isn't it cute? I copied from my Facebook. When I seen I thought it was just so cute, I had to put it on my blog for you all to see. Remember now Halloween is only 6 days away and that does remind me that I have to get a little more candy as Paul has been eating some of what I have already gotten but that is okay I expected that as I bought his favorites anyway.......he loves candy.

New Family Member

We have a new 8 week old baby girl in the Bilodeau Family. I must tell you it is not our family house hold it is our extended family and her name is Nautica. I have not seen her yet in person just pictures but I am looking forward to giving her big hugs and introducing her to her cousins. I just know Chester is going to give her a good sniffing and Sadie will more than likely just look at her maybe bark and want to get in my lap. Sadie is a Mama's girl. I can not get over how cute she is, got her little shirt on and I am sure it must have nautical print on it if I know my GF. Will I must abide you all a good night but I had to drop by with this photo and tell you about Nautica....I am always proud of new additions to the family whether they have 4 legs or 2. Hugs to you all.

Fall Foliage....

This was taken on the Upper Narrows not too far from our the camp road leading to the house. These trees the picture just does not really do it justice, they are just so burnt orange and red it's just amazing. I could have just stood there and continued taking pictures. I know that sound crazy but they are where so beauty.

Fall Foliage....

Sunday we took a Foliage ride and we went down throw Gardiner Rt. 126 by way of Tacoma Lake and the foliage was at peak this past weekend. It was just gorgeous in different places. This time of year it is just breath taking the beauty of mother nature, it just makes you wonder how it all takes place.

Halloween Card

I want to share this Spooktacular Halloween card with you. I did this one this afternoon. I use a miscellaneous blank card and K&Co. Halloween Black Dot pattern paper, my stamp was from G studio, ribbon from K&Co., the Spider Web how cute, this also has the spider attached, Jolee's Boutique's carries this particular one. I wanted to give my letters a little spook so I thought I would add some stickles which is like a glue with glitter already added but it drys very quickly, so I went with a bite of this. I use a wide variety of markers but with this particular card I happen to use Marvy LePlume which is great as they have two different type ends one is a brush end and the other is fine tip so it does getting the wide or the most finest of areas. My selection of adhesive is not of a wide range I use these two types most of the time, Kokuyo with dispenser and the double sided tape.

Happy Saturday........

Well, I must say my month of scrapping promise has not started off as I had hoped.....I have not scraped a thing. Friday was a very big day for me. My GF helped me move Marie and Albert back into Augusta and boy did we have a car load and than we unloaded and put away everything for them at the house; so now they are settled in town. I will now clean up at the camp for the winter months and get things washed so it will be all cleaned for when they return in the Spring. I will say they did have a very nice stay at there cottage this summer, Marie grew some awesome tomatoes and beautiful flowers. Last winter Paul and I had her Virgin all repainted and Paul and Arthur had taken it up to the cottage for her to enjoy there. I am going to insert a picture so you can see just how beautiful she is. Paul and I will take it in for the winter months. It is very hard to think that the summer has come and gone and fall is up on us and time to put things away. I still have a few things myself left outside to bring in but the weather has been so rainy lately that I have not been able to get it bought in. I do hope this coming week I can wrap things up. I would like very much to move on with my scrapping as I have some October Challenges I would like to take part in this month. So here is to hoping that the weather is good and I get things done outside and my challenges get under way. Will I say to you all again Happy Saturday and enjoy whatever you may do today.

October 1, 2008 (Evening)

Will, can you believe it.....the start of another month. You know the trees are turning fast around my neck of the woods and the acorns are really falling. I took Sadie out for her walk around the yard this afternoon and I was so worried that one would fall and hit her on her little head and knock her right out; when they come down and hit you on the head it does hurt believe me. Today I did not get too much accomplished other than paying bills but of course that is a big plus I have them out of the way for another month. One has to be thankful that they can even to that now days with the way the world is going. I read the news on line most of the time and I get so disgusted it's awful, there is truly no need of the way things have gone....it is all due to very poor management of funds and allot of padding the pockets of big CEO's that make more the we could ever imagine in a life time. I will not go with my rant I will save it for my Facebook wall....so you can read it there.
