Weekend...............

What a beautiful weekend we had. We had company that came up from Brunswick and Dougie came over as well, we put the boat in the water first thing Sunday and headed out on the lake. You truly could not have asked for a better day on the water that is for sure. We toured all down the side of East Winthrop into Manchester and up the Pond Road into Litchfield and than crossed over into Longfellow's Cove and that would be where we live; once we came out of the cove we decided to take them down and show them where the Woolworth Estate is which has now been sold to some one from out of state. Woolworth Estate was owned by the people that owned all the Woolworth stores. I know some of your out there remember these stores, they were all over at one time, just like the Ben Franklin's 5 and dime stores. I use to love those like stores with the little whole in the wall dinners in them. Well I got off track. Anyway, we finalize our boat ride and than came back to the house and had baked potatoes on the grill and grilled chicken and steak with Cole slaw and for dessert chocolate hazelnut cake. Paul loves this cake, I picked it up last weekend at Mister Market when we had Bill and Kim over and he could not get enough of it, so I got another one for this weekend. So after the meal was complete we all sat around and chatted and just enjoyed the company. The guys decided they would get out the golf cart and do some riding around up and down the lake and the camp road and finally they decided to go and pull out the boat so off they went all 4 of them. Kim and I stayed home with the dogs.

My Girls!

Will here are my favorite girls. I just love this picture, they are all so precious to me. I am an Aunt and a Great Aunt. This is my sister Nancy's daughter.........Crystal and her little girls, Kelci and Addison. These two girls love to wear dresses and little shoes with heels can you believe it! all ready with the heels. When I go home to visit I stay with Crystal, Pete and the girls and they play dress up for me and I am telling you it is too die for, I get the biggest kick out of it and than they model as well for me, of course I have to take pictures and post them on my blog for you all too see, that is a given. Can you tell I am a very proud Aunt?

Family Photo...........

This is the first time we have ever had a photo taken all together like this. We have done them in the past at Family Reunion's but this was special as you can see. This was taken as well at the Holiday Inn in Waterville during our stay there while attending Matthew's wedding. I just can not say enough of a wonderful time I had with my family during our stay. It is not that offend that we are all together at the same time, so these times we tend to cherish. Funny when you get older you don't see your siblings that offend and when you do you have allot of catching up to do, or at least I do.

The Girls!

Oh, my little girls came for a visit..............and I must say I did have a ball with them. They loved the pool and they did so awesome both of them. They wanted floaties on there arms and noodles and Addie went from the stairs over to the ladder while her mother was helping Kelci than of course when she realize what she had done you thought she was out at sea with the bloody scream she let out, Crystal swam over and bought her back. Kelci is the one with the princess crown on and Addie is the serious one. Crystal and I took the girls shopping and than we took them too Friendly's for lunch and they truly enjoyed this. I really can not tell you how much of a great time I did have with my niece Crystal and her daughters, they kept us both busy, of course I am thankful Addie still has a nap so I could get a little one in myself.......yes, I need it as well, not getting any younger and they proof that for sure. That 50 mark is coming faster than I want it too..........hehehe! Anyway I have to say I love my girls, all 3 of them..

Got to Share!

If a picture could say or show a thousand of things this one does. Is he just not adorable? This is my nephew Todd's little boy Evan he is 7 months old and on occasion I get to baby sit. Will I have to tell you I took care of my little friend last week and he is crawling and pulling himself up and has a tooth out and more coming and he is such a ball of fun. He always has a smile and loves Chester and Sadie but of course Sadie keeps here distance and Chester, he loves Evan, gives him a big ole' dog kiss, of course little Evan is just the right size to meet him right in the face looking up that long nose and pulling on them long ears. I have to keep a close watch on them two. Will as I said I had to share......he is too cute not too.

Le Festival de la Bastille

What a wonderful weekend we had. Paul's brother and wife were here from Florida for the Le Festival de la Bastille. We all went on Friday night for the opening ceremonies and firer works and I must say I have not seen firer works in many years and these were the most beautiful ones totally awesome. We all went again on Sunday for Mass at 10 am and than stayed for a big Chicken Barbecue with all the fixings and oh my goodness what a plate. I have to say I did not eat chicken I had to have my usual Crepes with maple syrup and a piece of meat pie and that was just outstanding. While we ate we was entertained with music and cloggers/tappers. There was this one young lady 13 years old that came down from Ft. Kent and what a voice she had, she sang just like Celine Dion I kid you not it was totally amazing. Here is her picture. Her name is Melanie Dorice Saucier and what a performance even her Dad got up and sang a couple of songs with her and he as well has a wonderful voice. It was a wonderful afternoon. The time came that we had to bid our farewell's to Roland and Marie as they were headed out to Boothbay for a couple of days than back too Portland to fly out on Wednesday morning. Will as I said in the beginning it was a wonderful weekend had by all.

My Little Swimmers!

This was our weekend at the Holiday Inn in Waterville. The girls just loved the pool. Kelci could not get enough of it all and than Addie suddenly decided she had no fear and was off too, they so hated to have to get out. This is the weekend my family all meant in Waterville for Matthew's wedding, we had such an awesome time. We spent just a short amount of time at the reception as we promised the girls we would take them to Friendly's for ice creams and they are a little to young to party with the adults anyway and it was cold and damp and old Aunt Judy could not take the weather either she was aching allot that day. I love my girls. They are coming to visit me in a week..............I can not wait. Come on girls! The pool is open......

LPS ClubLife Preserve is another place I visit to buy my kits but don't chat like I do at my other forums, I guess I am just more comfortable with these ladies, but believe me the inspiration at LPS is awesome. Shelley's kits are super as well and I enjoy them very much and thank you Shelley for such great picks and awesome kits.

Back Porch Memories This is where I have been visiting and getting allot of inspiration. I have meant allot of very nice ladies here at Back Porch Memories and I have bought the most awesome club kits. Paula the owner of Back Porch leaves in Alaska, I have spoken to her on the phone she is so pleasant. I can not believe it takes just 3 days for my kits to get to me by priority mail. I look forward every month to see what she comes out with for a new kit because they are all new products and just amazing. Thank you Paula!
