Turkey Day

Look I have my very own turkey and no it's not Thanksgiving here on Cobbossee Lake, it is just another day. I was going out into the breezeway and looked out the window and there it was, I said OH! look a turkey in my yard, where is my camera...........got to be quiet. I tip toed back to the kitchen and got my camera and back out to the door and started to open it quietly and it started to walk really fast across the lawn and than it slowed down when it got to the driveway so I got the photo...........how is that for target practice.

Happy Birthday To Me!

This is what she keeps singing Happy Birthday to me......she is all excited, cake, ice cream, presents, and all my friends, Happy Birthday to me.

My Sweet Peas

They are just as precious as they can be. Chester and I spent the weekend with them and what a ball we had, we was both tired out when we got back home but it was worth every bit of it. They was so good with Chester covering him up with baby blankets and following him all around the house. Kelci slept with us, she wanted to snuggle with Chester, of course Chester loves to snuggle.

Rainy Weather

Oh, I just hate this type of weather, we have had it for days now. Another rainy Spring in Maine. I have been pumping the pool cover off today can you imagine, already getting to be that time of year. I am so looking forward to see the trees start to bud and my flowers start to come up thru the soil. Mother Nature doing her work. Well I have been working on my lunch pail too today, I have gotten almost as far as I can go until I take some pictures and decide what I want to be for the title on the front. Will just wanted to drop off a few notes before I went to the Chalet to see what the girls were up too, so good night for now.

Lunch Pail Previews

Here are a few pictures of the lunch pail in progress. This is a front view. Far right is a side view. I have upload some pictures of some of the dividers that pictures will be mounted on. There are also dividers with tabs on the top so you my decorate them as well and tab them accordingly. This lunch pail can be used to make a recipe box for your favorite recipes or your favorite pictures. I have inserted a picture of the lunch pail with a picture of the finish product or course one can finish this anyway they so wish too, we all have our own ideals. I am preparing this to be sat up for pictures, I will finish it after I have decided what pictures I will using.

Shopping at Michael's

I decided to stop and browse at Michael's today and I came up with a new purchase. Take a look, it's very pretty, a little caddy to carry my scrap book supplies. I just love the color and it has so may compartments in it too. I must tell you May 1st Michael's is going to start carrying a new line it is going to be Martha Stewart, isn't that awesome, Martha is breaking out with scrapbooking supplies. I am anxious to see what her new line is going to be like. When I was in to Michael's today I was asking one of the girls about the new line of Martha and she told me that they have not seen the new products yet either. This is going to be like Christmas..............can't wait!

Spring Snow Again!

Well again we have another spring snow storm and this picture was just the start of the storm, it is suppose to go on until around midnight. Well one good thing is it can not last long we are in the middle of April so it's all down hill from here. I am still working on my lunch pail, been a little slow past couple of days have had things to do in the house, so I scrap as the free time comes along. Just wanted to pop in and drop off a picture and a note to let you all know what is going on in the scrap world of Scrappyladydelight.................

Lunch Pail

Yes, I know what you are thinking I bought Paul a new lunch pail, nope he is still brown bagging it. This is a scrapping item that I am altering and I am doing it mostly in Cherry Arte the Kitty Lou line and it is coming out so cute. I so love this company's product the stamps are awesome as well. I will be doing some stamping soon, once I get my things all back down cellar and put away and my equipment sat up. My plan for this weekend if all goes well is to get organized in the cellar so I can have Marjean over and we can scrap. I have been scrap camping in the living room this winter so things have been pretty messed up in there. I need to get organized in more than one area here in the house. Well I am off to the Chalet to see what the girls are up too. Bye for now!

Lazy Day

I have not accomplished much today other than a little ironing and a load of clothes. Like my title states "Lazy Day." I sit here typing thinking boy I should be in the living room working on a layout and I do have some good thoughts in my head too but just no mojo..............I hear Paul in the other room making them tired noises. You will never guess what he is doing, he is on eBay looking at headlight kits for the golf cart, I am telling you this thing is going to be his Cadillac its going to be unreal, I hope I am able to ride on it. Now I am going to show you one of his new accessories.

Mini Album Completed

Well finally I got over my block and got the mini album completed for Queen Kathleen's birthday, yes it was a tad late but it did turn out very nice, she was quite pleased. I have posted a couple of pictures so you can view the results of the finish product.

New Ride

We got a new ride and Paul's got a new toy. Boy's and there toys. Something he has always wanted a golf cart, no he not a golfer that would be me and no I am no Tiger Woods I am still trying to get out of the sand trap. Here is a picture of his new ride before accessorizing.

April Snow!

April Snow! What's up with that. It is surpose to be April Showers; right you are but from the looks of this picture the showers came later that evening for a short period of time after we had 12 to 14 inches of snow.

I'm Ashamed

My title says it all. I am ashamed that I have not even scraped a thing yet this month, yes I know it's early but at least I have a thought, something on paper and I don't even have that yet. I will say we did buy a golf cart to use around the yard and to go and to the lake and back and forth to the camp, Paul has order all kinds of things for it, I guess he wants it to look like a Cadillac, I am not quiet sure. I will take some before and after pictures as one product he ordered is hup caps with SS on them, I believe that stands for Super Sport he he...and they are chrome....check it out, know this is a man talking, trying to promote the product so you will say yes lets order..........but you know you don't stand a chance or saying no it's almost it's almost like the odds of you winning the mega bucks. Well I am going to go and visit my scraping friends over at the Chalet so I will be back hopefully the next time with a few pictures or the golf cart and a project to share oh and I also have pictures to put on as well of the altered mini book I did for my dearest friend Queen Kathleen for her birthday, it came out so nice, she was so pleased and I was please with the turn out as well.

Island Chalet Dec 2004, We spent Christmas here and walked the beach on Christmas day and picked up rocks, the weather was up in the 50's.
