The Big Blinkie

This is the starter blinkie for the crop. Ready set go! Get those scissors and those glue sticks out and let's see that paper start flying. I am so looking forward to the day when I can sit down and get back to scraping. My days have been so consumed lately that I have been so tight in my neck and shoulders I have been doing the bio-freeze like crazy. Will enough of all my wanting too scrap and whining because I have been too busy and stressed to the max and tired but this too shall pass and I will get back to my craft at hand and all will be well. I had to come in and do some editing as I still am in the learning process in my blog. I had a big blinkie up and I deleted out of my photo bucket and broke the link..............learning; so this is what happens when you break a link you end up having to edit. "Do not break your links".

It's A Crop Weekend

Will I have some news to put out to you all, this up coming weekend ScrapHappy KT is having an online crop with loads of fun good chats and prizes. The crop will start Friday night and will run until Sunday evening and the site is http://www.scraphappykt.com/ Oh! I forgot to mention we are going to be playing bingo too. Clean Up!

Will I had to do a little cleaning up here on my computer and than on my blog. I am telling you lately if something can go wrong it will; had to do a little restore and lost my slide show. Will I am not up too fixing that tonight so I just deleted it and will fix at a later date and time. Will I have to go and check out the ladies at the ScrapShanty and ScarpHappy see what they are up too so I will bid you all a good night for now.

Slide Show................

Will I am learning a few new things. I am doing a little experimenting with my first slide show not to bad but, now if I can only figure out how to change my dashboard; sounds like I am redoing the inside of a car. Have learned allot lately about computers and communications. I do believe I could have worked as a tech in my past days. Will water under the bridge. Time to move on. I eventually want to start another blog of nothing but my scrapbooking layouts and cards and altered items this will soon be a work in progress. I do believe my time frame will be somewhere around the first of the new year I hope to have most of what I have done all transferred over to my new blog. I have to think of a good name for my scrapbook gallery. I am thinking of a name of Lady Loon's Gallery I like this especially where we live on the lake and you hear the loon's all summer long right up until it starts to get cold. Speaking of cold and rainy and the wind is blowing very damp day but I have got allot done today and it is late and I have sat my clocks back for the most part and I am ready for bed. I bid you all a good night!

Computers

I have spent this past week messing with computers. Will I have had my laptop to the Comdoctor and spent $30.00 for them to tell me that nothing is wrong with my Internet connection. I just so love to throw money around. I spent all day Tuesday on the phone and under the desk yes you heard correctly under the desk,connection and reconnection wires and a few choice words that I will not mention and talked to some people I hope not to talk to again in my life time. Will just let you know if you should stop by my blog that tech support does not mean what it stands for they were no help to me, I fix my problem myself. When I call tech support and ask the person on the other end which happen to be a young lady to check my Internet speed, she asked me if I could get a web page? I told her yes. She said! and I quote......"you'll sat''. I said to her what does that have to do with my speed of the Internet? She than said again you'll sat. I told her; I could do your job........wonder how she liked that one? People that just don't have the time to do there job I do not have any patience's at all.

My Guy

Check him out, he is My Guy! I am trying to get some of my layouts loaded into my blog as this is what I intended it to be for. I am still in the learning process of using the blog and changing things around and trying to add things, so if you stop by and see something new or missing it is just the operator doing her thing. Hehe...... Will I have to tell you all we went out on the town last night went over to Bill and Kim's house for a visit and meant her brother and a friend of hers from Bar Harbor, Diana very nice lady. We have a wonderful visit and than we headed out to the Calumet Club for the Halloween dance, Motor Bode was playing. I must say the music was the good old 70's so it was right up my alley they only thing was I was sitting right on top of the speakers. I still hear the music today.

Inside Happy Harvest Card

This is the inside of my card, it's a little fuzzy down by the ribbon area but it says......."Pumpkin Patch" and over on the gate area it states: Happy Harvest!

Happy Harvest Card

This is one of my newest creations the Happy Harvest card. The fence part opens up. This I stamped and colored in with pencils, than I stamped the scarecrow and basket with pumpkins on the inside and colored all with the pencils. Chalked the outter edges for the finishing touches. It has been awhile since I have blogged or done any scrapping but recently I have been working on a 12x12 baby album and I made this card thinking the time of year the leaves turning, picking apples and making cider, Happy Harvest.

Bradley and Kate's Wedding

This is the married couple aren't they just adorable and yes he is my nephew so I am showing favouritism but that is all right I can do that. The colors was just so pretty, so fallish, tan, melon, and her dress looks white from the picture but it's actually a cream color everything was fall and it was nothing like I have ever seen.They had a candy bar which was a very cute ideal and allot of 5X7 pictures here and there of different things such as sports, vacations they had done and been on was all very nicely done. I must say it was a very nice reception a great meal was had by all and they dancing and of course the cutting of the wedding cake which was gorgeous and than it was time for me to bid a good night and take Mom and Dad back to Marty's and Nancy and I back to the little cottages we were staying in but it was a wonderful evening and a most beautiful wedding.

Bradley's Wedding

It was a beautiful September evening my family and I was all in Somerworth, NH at the Oaks Country Club for my nephew's wedding. It was a beautiful setting all done in fall colors and they got married outside and the reception with held inside and I must say I am glad it was, as it was a very hot and humid day into the evening.

In the background you could see the 9th hole of the golf course and the grass was just so green. I am very anxious to get some pictures from my sister as my camera decided not to work as they wedding got unway. I am going to post a nice photo of the bride and groom what a nice couple.
