Lunch Pail

Yes, I know what you are thinking I bought Paul a new lunch pail, nope he is still brown bagging it. This is a scrapping item that I am altering and I am doing it mostly in Cherry Arte the Kitty Lou line and it is coming out so cute. I so love this company's product the stamps are awesome as well. I will be doing some stamping soon, once I get my things all back down cellar and put away and my equipment sat up. My plan for this weekend if all goes well is to get organized in the cellar so I can have Marjean over and we can scrap. I have been scrap camping in the living room this winter so things have been pretty messed up in there. I need to get organized in more than one area here in the house. Well I am off to the Chalet to see what the girls are up too. Bye for now!

Lazy Day

I have not accomplished much today other than a little ironing and a load of clothes. Like my title states "Lazy Day." I sit here typing thinking boy I should be in the living room working on a layout and I do have some good thoughts in my head too but just no mojo..............I hear Paul in the other room making them tired noises. You will never guess what he is doing, he is on eBay looking at headlight kits for the golf cart, I am telling you this thing is going to be his Cadillac its going to be unreal, I hope I am able to ride on it. Now I am going to show you one of his new accessories.

Mini Album Completed

Well finally I got over my block and got the mini album completed for Queen Kathleen's birthday, yes it was a tad late but it did turn out very nice, she was quite pleased. I have posted a couple of pictures so you can view the results of the finish product.

New Ride

We got a new ride and Paul's got a new toy. Boy's and there toys. Something he has always wanted a golf cart, no he not a golfer that would be me and no I am no Tiger Woods I am still trying to get out of the sand trap. Here is a picture of his new ride before accessorizing.

April Snow!

April Snow! What's up with that. It is surpose to be April Showers; right you are but from the looks of this picture the showers came later that evening for a short period of time after we had 12 to 14 inches of snow.

I'm Ashamed

My title says it all. I am ashamed that I have not even scraped a thing yet this month, yes I know it's early but at least I have a thought, something on paper and I don't even have that yet. I will say we did buy a golf cart to use around the yard and to go and to the lake and back and forth to the camp, Paul has order all kinds of things for it, I guess he wants it to look like a Cadillac, I am not quiet sure. I will take some before and after pictures as one product he ordered is hup caps with SS on them, I believe that stands for Super Sport he he...and they are chrome....check it out, know this is a man talking, trying to promote the product so you will say yes lets order..........but you know you don't stand a chance or saying no it's almost it's almost like the odds of you winning the mega bucks. Well I am going to go and visit my scraping friends over at the Chalet so I will be back hopefully the next time with a few pictures or the golf cart and a project to share oh and I also have pictures to put on as well of the altered mini book I did for my dearest friend Queen Kathleen for her birthday, it came out so nice, she was so pleased and I was please with the turn out as well.

Mini Album Block

I have been working on this mini album as a gift and it is really coming out very well, little slow getting it done as I don't get allot of time to sit and scrap but that is okay I do what I can. I am working on the cover to the album now and I am a little stumped so I need a little time to think, collect a few thoughts, a few imagines in my head and than I will run with it. Once I am all done I will take some pictures so I can upload them into the gallery on the Chalet. This is a program that I am proud of, will I am proud of all that I do in scrap booking this is just a different project and it's for a very special friend and I am looking forward to giving it to her. Will I am going off to bed so I can get those thoughts going and see what happens, tomorrow is another day and hopefully that creative mind will be in play and I will be on a roll again........................

Shopping with Chester

What wonderful weather we had today, the sun was shining and it was 50 degrees, so it was time for an outing, so we was off. Chester and I got ourselves ready took the camera for a just in case moment and hit the road we was headed for Waterville Maine.
First stop I had to get my ice coffee at DD in Manchester and 2 munchkins for the boy than we was on the road made as far as Sears than we had to make a pit stop for the boy, he was uncomfortable so we had to take our first walk, back in the car and we was off again, made to the other side of Augusta and another pit stop had to get gas, as usual Paul use the car and it was almost on empty, what's new. Well, we are tanked up and ready to go, we are off again finally on our way on 95 headed north towards Waterville things are good. Finally we are at Wal-mart to pick up what is needed than off to Caswell's for a few supplies than we went back to the other side of Waterville to stop in a big parking lot to go for a nice long walk which was so nice. We both enjoyed it very much, and it seem so nice to be able to get out without freezing. After walk I went down to JoAnn's and done a little clearance shopping picked up a few little items than back on the road to home headed south bound. It was a really good day for the both of us just to get out of the house and be able to take a few walks and do a little shopping.

Wednesday Morning

Well it's been awhile since I have stopped by and drop a few lines, so I thought I would. I have been kind of behind in getting my layouts done; have had allot of ideals in my head and the minute I sit down my mind goes blank, I guess this where my journal would come in handy. I think allot when I am driving but to tell you the truth it is not good to write and drive at the same time, I do believe that cops to frown upon this. The action on the Chalet site turned out awesome the amount raised was $498.00 and the ladies got allot of beautiful items including myself. The action was held for one of our fellow scrappers, she has a daughter that has an illness which I truly am not sure of all the details but I know she will have to have operations for awhile and she is very young. My heart just goes out to Tracelyn and her family. Live can be so sad in so many ways, one just never knows, I guess if we did we would go out of our way to try to avoid all these situations.
